Home » Export Grape Leaves to Greece
Greece is one of the world’s leading consumers of grape leaves, particularly fond of making traditional dishes such as dolmades. Salted grape leaves are a staple in classic Greek cuisine and a key ingredient in dolmades.
- Understanding the Greek VineLeaf Market and Product Positioning
Requirement for Consistent Quality: Many Greek food industry and restaurants are seeking reliable, year-round grape leaves supplier that are uniform in size, texture, and flavor—something difficult to achieve with freshly picked local grape leaves.
Off-Season Supply: Brined or pickled grape leaves provide a crucial solution during the off-season.
Price Competitiveness: High-quality processed grape leaves offer a cost advantage while retaining their original flavor.
Our salted grape leaves provide a high-quality, reliable, and convenient option for commercial kitchens and food producers.
- Strict Quality Control, Meeting EU Standards
China is rich in grape leaf resources, especially Xinjiang, where the grape leaves are thick, tender, and nutritious. Through professional salting, the product meets the taste and quality requirements of the Mediterranean market.
To meet EU food safety requirements, our Xinjiang factory has established a complete quality control system, from raw material selection to finished product inspection.
First, we source grape leaves from contracted organic planting bases that strictly follow EU pesticide residue limits (Regulation (EC) No 396/2005).
Second, raw materials and finished products undergoes third-party testing by an EU-accredited laboratory (SGS), covering over 200 pesticide residues.
- Production & Delivery Capacity
Our factory has an annual production capacity of 10000+ metric tons of salted grape leaves, with a monthly supply capacity of 800–900 metric tons. We have a stable logistics network specializing in EU-bound shipments, and can guarantee on-time delivery with flexible order quantities.
The first shipment of salted grape leaves (approximately 25 tons) in a 40-foot container successfully arrived at the Port of Piraeus, Greece. The product received positive feedback from Greek consumers and distributors, “The thick, tender grape leaves are perfect for making Greek dolma, the moderate saltiness suits local tastes, and the vacuum packaging ensures freshness.”
Looking forward to establishing a long-term, reliable partnership with more Greek companies.
