  1. Balanced rigidity and toughness, excellent mechanical properties

The material possesses excellent rigidity and tensile strength, resulting in films with good stiffness and high flatness after molding, resistant to deformation and wrinkling, meeting the structural support requirements of thin-walled, lightweight films. It also retains excellent impact resistance and low-temperature toughness, resisting brittleness at low temperatures, and exhibiting outstanding puncture and tear resistance, effectively resisting external pressure and abrasion during transportation and storage, making it suitable for the packaging protection needs of frozen foods and heavy materials.

  1. High barrier performance, suitable for sealed packaging

HDPE FB5600 significantly improves barrier performance, effectively preventing moisture penetration and oxygen flow, preventing the materials inside the packaging from becoming damp, oxidized, or deteriorated. This characteristic makes it a core substrate for high-barrier composite films, achieving basic sealing and preservation effects without complex multi-layer lamination processes, thus helping to extend the shelf life of packaged products.

  1. Stable processing performance, suitable for high-speed production

Excellent bubble stability during blown film production, it is less prone to problems such as bubble swaying, film breakage, and uneven thickness, making it suitable for high-speed blown film production lines, significantly improving production efficiency and finished product qualification rate. Simultaneously, the material has good tensile uniformity and excellent downward pulling performance, allowing for stable processing of film products with thicknesses of 15μm and above. Furthermore, FB5600 has excellent heat-sealing performance, high heat-sealing strength, and uniform and strong sealing edges, making it suitable for automated high-speed bag making and sealing processes.

Main applications of Borouge FB5600 HDPE

High-barrier food packaging: Fresh-keeping packaging for frozen seafood, frozen meat, dried goods and snacks, baked goods.

Recyclable single-material packaging: All-PE structure stand-up pouches and composite flexible packaging, replacing heterogeneous composite structures such as PET/PE, achieving 100% recyclability of packaging materials.

Heavy-duty industrial packaging films: FFS heavy-duty wrapping films, heavy-duty industrial packaging bags, and material storage films, suitable for packaging heavy materials such as granules, powders, and chemical raw materials.

Functional multilayer composite films: As a rigid barrier layer in a multilayer blown film structure, combined with sealing layers and surface materials, they can improve the overall structural strength and barrier performance of composite films.
