What are key properties of Polypropylene K8003?
Excellent impact resistance
The Izod impact strength at room temperature (23℃) is 6.0～8.0 kJ/m², which is far higher than that of general homopolymer PP. Even at low temperature (-20℃), it can still maintain high toughness, not easy to brittle fracture, which effectively ensures the service life and safety of the products made from it. This performance makes it particularly suitable for products that need to withstand collision and impact in daily use or industrial scenarios.
High rigidity and dimensional stability
With a flexural modulus of 1310 MPa, K8003 PP can enable the products to have strong load-bearing capacity and not easy to deform during use. In addition, the resin has low water absorption and stable size, which can effectively avoid product deformation caused by environmental humidity changes.
Good heat and chemical resistance
It has excellent resistance to acids, alkalis and most organic solvents, and is non-toxic and tasteless. However, it should be noted that it is not resistant to strong oxidizing acids and chlorinated hydrocarbons, and needs to be avoided in corresponding harsh environments.
Friendly rocessability and stable batch quality
