What Are Excellent Performances of PP T36F BOPP Film Grade?
Excellent processing and molding performance. Its precise molecular weight distribution design allows it to adapt to the high-speed biaxial stretching process of BOPP film. Whether asynchronous or synchronous stretching, it effectively avoids problems such as film breakage and creases during stretching, ensuring production continuity.
Outstanding optical performance. The processed BOPP film has extremely high transparency and surface gloss. Light transmittance can reach over 90%, and gloss is not less than 85%, clearly showcasing the appearance of the product inside the packaging, making it especially suitable for scenarios requiring high-transparency packaging.
Reliable mechanical properties. BOPP film made from PP T36F resin combines high rigidity with good toughness. Longitudinal tensile strength can exceed 120MPa, and transverse tensile strength exceeds 200MPa, effectively resisting stretching and impact during packaging and transportation, preventing film damage. Its tear strength and puncture resistance are good, making it less prone to breakage and damage. It also possesses a certain degree of low-temperature folding resistance.
Excellent Chemical Properties. It possesses excellent chemical stability, is resistant to acids, alkalis, and oils, and is insoluble in most solvents, only susceptible to corrosion by strong acids such as fuming sulfuric acid and nitric acid. It effectively blocks moisture, oils, and other substances, preventing the packaged product from becoming damp and deteriorating, thus extending its shelf life.
Main Applications of PP T36F BOPP Film Grade
Food packaging
This is the largest application area for PP T36F. Due to its food-grade hygiene properties, high transparency, good barrier properties, and mechanical strength, it is widely used in the production of outer packaging films for various foods. It can be used for food packaging requiring moisture barrier properties, as well as for low-temperature food packaging and high-transparency packaging.
Adhesive tape substrate
PP T36F is an ideal raw material for transparent adhesive tape substrates. BOPP films made from it, after corona treatment, exhibit stable surface tension with a long retention time, making them ideal for coating pressure-sensitive adhesives and providing excellent bonding performance. Simultaneously, the film’s excellent tensile strength and toughness ensure that the tape is not easily broken or torn during use.
In the printing and composite film industry
PP T36F is commonly used as a printing layer material, laminated with CPP film, PE film, or aluminum foil to create various composite packaging films, widely used for packaging products such as sunflower seeds, laundry detergent, cosmetics, and daily necessities. In addition, it can also be used to produce functional printed films such as matte film and pearlescent film.
Other applications
PP T36F can also be used to produce functional BOPP films, such as antistatic film and anti-fog film. Antistatic film can be used for packaging electronic components and precision instruments. Anti-fog film can be used for packaging vegetables, mushrooms, and frozen foods.
