SABIC B5429 is a general-purpose blow-molding grade HDPE. With its excellent rigidity, toughness, resistance to environmental stress cracking, and processing performance, it is widely used in the production of small and medium-sized hollow containers for daily chemicals, food, and industrial chemicals. It is also suitable for thin-walled hollow products and profile extrusion, making it widely used in the packaging plastics industry.

Core Basic Properties of SABIC HDPE B5429
Density: 0.954 g/cm³. This high density property endows the product with excellent rigidity, dimensional stability, and load-bearing capacity, resulting in less deformation and high flatness after molding.
Melt flow rate: 0.3 g/10min (190℃/2.16kg). Its low flow and high viscosity characteristics are suitable for blow molding processes, resulting in uniform preform molding and less sagging.
Thermal properties: With the vicat softening point of 124℃, HDPE B5429 resinhas excellent low-temperature performance. With the embrittlement temperature of -75℃, it is adaptable to complex high and low temperature environments, and outstanding weather resistance. Â
Mechanical properties: Tensile yield strength is 30MPa, breaking strength is 32MPa, elongation at break up to 850%, secant modulus at 1% elongation is 1150MPa. It balances high rigidity and high toughness, exhibiting excellent impact and compression resistance.   Â
Stress cracking resistance: The ESCR (100% Igepal), F50 can up to 100 hours, effectively preventing cracking and leakage problems after long-term contact with chemical and daily chemical media.
Main Applications of HDPE B5429
Daily chemical and cosmetic packaging. Small and medium-sized plastic bottles for laundry detergent, fabric softener, disinfectant, shower gel, skincare products, etc. For that it is resistant to acids, alkalis, and daily chemical media, with a smooth appearance and good texture.
Food packaging. Various food-grade hollow containers, beverage auxiliary packaging, small food storage bottles.
Industrial chemical packaging. Packaging containers for industrial chemicals such as solvents, coatings, additives, and automotive care products. It is corrosion-resistant, leak-proof, and aging-resistant.Â
Various thin-walled hollow fittings, general plastic profiles, small industrial storage containers, suitable for the production of a variety of non-standard hollow products.
